To Our Loyal Nature’s Select Customers,
Hope you all had a nice holiday season with your loved ones. I'm writing to inform you all of some exciting upcoming changes for our family owned business. Starting in the first quarter of 2026, we will begin to roll out our newly redesigned Nature’s Select packaging for our core dry food recipes. We will slowly roll these out over the next few months as we deplete our current bag inventory. The first products to be released to our customers will be our Select Plus and Select High Protein recipes.
This is a much anticipated improvement to our Nature’s Select formulas and the new bags will reflect those changes. Rest assured they’re the same recipes you know and love, just with some enhancement for your dog’s benefit. You will notice in the labeling of our beautiful new packaging that the first ingredients are often deboned meats. These high quality meats have more meat and less bone than even the highest quality meals. These changes give our nutritionist more control over Ash levels (calcium & phosphorus). Another benefit of these new deboned meats is that they taste better for your pet!
We will be rolling out 28 lb sizes for our big bags and introducing 15 lb sizes for our small bags. Reason for this change is to remain competitive with the dry dog food market norms that appear both online and in stores nationwide, and at the same time being able to keep your price per pound as close as possible. While we will be discontinuing the 5 lb bag size once that inventory runs out, those of you who normally buy them will realize it's a cost-effective option to buy a 15 lb bag and will have a better value overall. The dog food market has a normal offering of 24-26 lb size for big bags and 15 lb size for small bags so our decision to change has been long overdue; however, this change is to also to be able to keep our shipping costs more affordable so that we can continue to still offer you all our Signature Free Home Delivery service you've all come to know, love and expect from Nature's Select. The new bags should be sturdier as well to avoid some of the side splitting or tears some of you have reported last year which should reduce the number of instances of spilled kibble inside some of your shipments.
You will be able to visit our brand site, NaturesSelectPetFood.com to see the improved recipes and new bag images by end of January. We will begin to update our main website NaturesSelectShop.com with the new product information, images, and pricing as the new bags roll out and become available for our customers starting in Q1. Note that if you purchase from one of our local dealers they will update their product information once they start to receive the new products, this will vary by location*
