Customer Spotlight: Kingman

Kingman Peer Support Dog

Say hi to Kingman! He's a 3-year-old Chocolate Lab from Kingman, AZ. He was donated to the Huntington Beach Fire Peer Support Team by the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation. Kingman goes to work as a Peer Support Dog with his handler, Kane and they work their shifts together. Kingman's main role is to provide comfort and give firemen the ability to process stress and trauma that they go through on a shift-by-shift basis.

He's already made a positive impact at his station and within the community. Firemen response to Kingman has been positive and they get excited to go to work knowing he will be there for their shifts.

Kingman thrives on our Nature's Select Classic Recipe. It helps him maintain a healthy weight. His coat is always shining and his energy is high. He's not a food-driven dog, but he is ALWAYS ready for meal time!

Learn more about the amazing work Kingman is doing by following @KingmanTheFireDog & @Huntington_Beach_Fire on Instagram. And be sure to check out our friends at @22tozero to see where he was trained.

We recetly had the opportunity to head over to Huntington Beach Warner Fire Station to interview Kane & Kingman. Stay tuned for upcoming videos to see what Kingman's life is like and how he is positively impacting the community he serves!
